"Ethereal Blue"
...
And, broken away from mind,
worthless as the broken wing
of an archangel of heaven,
struggling not to fall and cease;
...
she ended craving madness.
...
And locked away, hidden in lies
and buried 'neath gravish stone,
so shunned and made pariah,
refusing to be loved and cherished;
...
she turned away from gladness.
...
And, rended from her own heart
forcing the rise of her own will
(a victim of self, her own vile sins)
negating her own truthful fragility;
...
she craved the ravening madness.
...
And, blue and silent in her place,
awakening to a too-stark reality,
casting away doubt and fear of gods,
bleeding herself out of memories;
...
she feared the shine of gladness.
...
And, alone in loathesome senility,
losing control of her dreamstate
now inky-black and snowy-white,
become as stark as true love;
...
she welcomed her final madness.
